Today will be how I hate it when love scenes come up on TV. Especially when you're settled on the couch with a casual friend and suddenly the characters on screen just break into a flurry of passion and start kissing. Now when this happens, for cinematic purposes, or just a mockery of my awkwardness, there is no background music or birds chirping. Nothing. Just the sound of lips smacking. Yum. And it goes on and on and on.........and so you two are sitting there, keeping extremely still and staring at the screen intensely so the other will not think you're shy about it and old fashioned(Like who looks away when people are making out?On screen?? sheesh...)But not blinking for that long just gets uncomfortable, and there's a dole of saliva stuck at the back of your throat but you dare not swallow because then you'll seem nervous and really amateur oh boo you..So graciously, both of you sit there staring at the screen, not blinking nor allowing any saliva down like normal people would, until the scene is over. But doesn't that just make you look like a sex fanatic? I mean people kissing on screen without any other visuals would turn you on? Well I wouldn't know I mean I just swallow and shift about uncomfortably so that I can ask questions until the scene is over. Then I turn back and blink as many times I want.
