I wish my teacher wouldn't look at me like I'm his stupidest student. Or smile at me sympathetically like I really need help and therefore he will be extra nice to the student who needs extra help. It only makes me feel worse. But I don't blame him. Places switched, I would smile and think I were my stupidest student who has airbags for craniums too. I wouldn't dare to say hi the next time I see him lest he thinks that's the only thing I can say right.

Maybe that look on his face was coz he realised your french was better than his; you having been trained than a native speaker made him intimidated.
I was referring to Lit though I guess that just makes it worse. Doubt my French teacher thinks otherwise too 0.o
