The Toilette II
This is another crawling encounter. Tonight, there was a lizard right at 2 inches away from my face. I was so shocked my two hands came up to my chest instantly (that's what usually happens when I get shocked; some primitive habit to protect my heart) and tiptoed out of as fast as I could without slipping. I only realized my fists were clenched so tight I had red nail marks etched onto my palms when I was out of danger, outside the toilet. Sigh I finally gave in and went in to shower, all the while staring at the amphibian above (by this time it had ran to the ceiling) and willing it not to lose the suction on its flippers. It didn't and I came out safe. I didn't even have time to make sure the millipedes weren't making headway onto my foot. Relieve.

At least you had the courage to go back and bathe. Were you there when Anand freaked out when I removed the baby lizard from Eva's car?
haha yes. going into contact with danger is brave.
Ah but danger is often a subjective experience. Just keep those cockroaches away from me and I'll fearlessly fight off all lizards that stand between you and your car.
