Perhaps it was the rain against my windscreen; perhaps it was the shock of ditching family time for scooping ice cream; yet maybe it was the spicy Mcnuggets. Well, one of these must have allowed me to see how basic people are. Basically selfish. I have been selfish for more times than it is reasonable, and sometimes I even do it subconsciously. I'm not proud of them. But today I took comfort in knowing there are people worse than I.
You must be thinking I'm such a big liar, and a lousy one at that because who can be more selfish than someone who doesn't even want to share her Curry sauce from Macdonalds. I thought so too. But oh no we are wrong.
Being frugal is a virtue; being stingy isn't. I hope I'll remember that.
