This Camden Summer
After a few years of uncertainty and doubt, I can safely say today that the left eye tears more easily than the right(I hear your mutters of 'what a loser' and feelings of incredulity, I hear them all). But because this is my blog and blogs are loose spaces of whatever, I am going to elaborate. This hasn't come easy. I always thought the tear ducts in my left eye were just more responsive or sensitive whichever comes first. Every time something hurts, my left eye would tear even before my brain registers the pain. But recently, it has come to my attention that mainly anything on the left side of the body hurts at least 3 times more than any part on the right. That's because the heart is tilted toward the left(this is the part where those of you who have a right heart or none at all stop reading any further). The logic is that because the left is closer to the heart, it hurts more than the right. Not much logic but I really don't have an absolute answer. Basically knowing that the closer you are to the heart the more pain you will feel is a satisfying answer. Well, at least now I know that when I fall, I will put my right foot out first.

I actually noticed all the pictures taken of me running have my head tilted right and wondered why. (Okay my chin tilts left. Hahaha.)
I also wondered why eyebrow threading hurt a hell lot more on one side than the other, as the lady doing the threading for me warned.
Which reminds me... I'm due to go again next week. Gulp. Imma gonna cry from one eye again...
I don't know about running but threading...ohhh yeah the left hurts a whole load more than the right doesn't it! hahaha good luck next week as they say, no pain no gain(from the heart)..
What's (from the heart) supposed to mean! Hahahah. Last time at least I had my sister to tickle me so I'll be distracted from the pain. Now she's doing a gap year so I'm gonna have to go alone.
I'll tilt my head away from the heart and see if I feel less pain.
The heart being sincere and on the left and all....sorry I can get pretty incomprehensible at times.
My condolences on the temporal loss of your distracter, but I'm sure tilting away from your heart works well too!
Oh hey I like reading your blog it's candid and satirical!
Don't worry about being a little incomprehensible. It's the mystery that keeps my attention after all! Haha, which might just be the reason why I like to read you blog so much.
You like reading my blog? Cheryl, you just made my day! (Which really wasn't all that great till now.) Yay!
