He asked: Were the professors at NUS better than those at SMU?
I said: No.
He asked: Was the idea of hostel living important to one in choosing a uni?
I said: No.
He asked: Do you live far away from NUS?
I said: Yes.
He asked: Did I choose NUS because I thought I could get a better job?
I said: No.
And so I wanted to ask him if I could transfer.
Would this be the worst mistake of my life? Too many choices is a worse situation than one without. It would entirely be my fault if I regret.
I didn't ask in the end. He must have known I was in denial for choosing NUS then.
