The Afters---->i know that's like a band name but it aptly describes the aura of what's been happening. Everything that falls into place is possible only with the ending of A's, and it really is one of the greatest but simultaneously the weirdest emotion ever. I must have not studied hard enough(eeek!) for A's because karma has her way of letting you know. Last night, i dreamt i had a paper today and tmrw but expectedly I wasn't prepared for it. It was incredibly REEEEAAAAL. The feeling of unfinished papers and one so impending really drove in so hard that im still feeling its aftermath....yikes. Whenever someone asks if i am prepared for a paper, I always reply with a "I will never be prepared." grrreeaaat, now i've got to live with an immense 'i could have done more' feelign for the rest of my life.

And then there was prom. oh man,was it b-o-ring! even the 'hilarious' host was un-hilarious. and i got to eat less than one quartz of the food-.- I went with the intention of eating every dish!!!!but noooo i didn't even know they had ham-wrapped finger food, or fried rice or desert.....grrr just when i was so prepared to eat. Hundreds of pictures, but grab off facebook. At least post prom paid off the boredom. yayyers.

And then there was retreat. At the most un-livable and belivable place. Since when did camps really have snakes?! Those were supposed to be mere ploys to deter kids from running all over the place! But nooo, they had to be reeeal.! But it was fine in the end. No one got strangled or possessed-the japs were supposed to have landed at the beach beside our huts-no one got eaten up by antlions or suffocated by flies or sucked dry by slugs, so everything went just fine. In fact, it always is when the going gets tough that the living gets its best. It's like as jo said, 'we all suffer together' so i guess there's a kind of fraternity/sorority kind of a we're-all-in-this-together spirit. And at the end of it, everyone's tight and bonded, waaaay past the awkward eye contact and hostile greetings. Another clump of a few hundred pictures and many stomach-aching videos that are a must-watch.By the way, just so you know the place for a wonderful retreat, it's at Sarimbun Scouts camp all the way at yio chu kang, just off the cemeteries and beside Kranji beach. Questions?

Today, just back from retreat for about a day and a half, I'm trying to catch up on events and happenings in the lives of those around. Hopefully by friday, and then it'll be B to the A to the L to the I on sat! yayyers!
Oh I love the life of life!
